Blogtacular 2014 was a phenomenal 24 hours of learning, connection, inspiration and friendship. We dreamed wildly while creating our very first event but we could never have dreamed just how amazing it would feel to be amongst such warm and generous people.
If you missed out on being there you can catch up via the official photos, all the Blogtacular 2014 posts being written by attendees and by joining the virtual conference – scroll down to get a taste of what’s in store on the 2014 show reel.
An event like Blogtacular could never happen if we didn’t have a lot of support and help along the way.
Thank you to our speakers for believing in us and trusting your reputation to an event with an untested one. Of course we knew you would all be great and we left the event inspired, recharged and in awe of your amazing talents.
To our awesome team who worked with us on the day: Amanda, Amy, Claudia and Sarah – thank you so much for giving up your time so Blogtacular could be a success. Our fantastic ops manager Tabara was so perfect and we loved working with her.
To our sponsors B&Q and Thomson – thank you for supporting the event and believing in the power that relationships between brands and bloggers can have. We love the creativity they are bringing to their collaborations and we loved having them at Blogtacular.
MailChimp could not join us on the day and wanted to help other people who weren’t there get in on the action. They sponsored Joy Cho’s keynote which will be online for everyone to see in June. Thanks MailChimp, we hope you can make it next year!
We owe a huge debt of gratitude to Mollie Makes and Future Publishing for their support as our media partners. Not only did they sponsor Tilly Walnes’ session, but they provided the printing and the official photography. You can find all of the photos on our Flickr and they are free to use with a thank you link to MM. Mollie Makes supported Blogtacular from the very beginning which has meant so much to us throughout.
Our goody bags were exclusively designed and printed screen printed by Zeena Shah. They were stuffed full of goodies from: Mail Chimp, Robynmade, Jane Means, Betty and Walter, Tigerlilly Quinn, Lollipop Designs, Ladybird Likes, Mollie Makes, Save the Children, The Hambledon, Trouvé Vintage and Love It Love It Love It.
A huge thank you to the Radisson Blu Portman for amazing accommodation for Team Blogtacular. The staff and accommodation were out of this world (and they even brought us cake – how good is that?) and its location just near Marble Arch meant getting to and from the venue and around London were so easy. Thank you as well to the Royal Horseguards Hotel for giving us a great deal for Joy’s accommodation in their stunning Thames front hotel in Westminster. Thank you to Benedicte and the team at DigitasLBi for helping us make these things happen.
The entire event was filmed by our media partners CTV Outside Broadcasts. Thank you to Bill, Rob and the rest of the team for doing such an amazing job. Kat is busy editing the videos for our virtual conference to come out in June. Thank you to Sian Gwilliam, our Media Consultant, who arranged the filming of the event.
We owe a huge thank you to the fabulous team at the Royal Institution of Great Britain. Not only was the venue a beautiful space to gather, the staff went of the way to make Blogtacular happen.
Our friends and family have supported us over the last year and made it possible to dream this big. It is true that without their work we would not have been able to achieve any of this. A special thank you has to go to Ed who invested in our business and gave Blogtacular the start up it needed. Thank you, we think you’re aces.
And our biggest thanks goes to all of you who have supported us, whether you attended the day, took part in our weekly twitter chats or simply cheered us on. Thank you for all of the blog posts, the tweets, the shares, the support behind the scenes and making the atmosphere so electric. We couldn’t have done it without you.
Enjoying reliving the conference through our 2014 show reel.
