Teri Muncey

Designer, Blogger & Stylist - The Lovely Drawer

Teri Muncey is a freelance designer and DIY & interiors blogger living in West London.

As soon as she could hold a pencil, design was the focus of everything she did. After training in print she began working as an in-house graphic designer and illustrator but it wasn’t long before she felt creatively unstimulated. It was this, along with the ever swelling pool of ideas in her head, that led her to start The Lovely Drawer blog alongside her job. It started as a place to put all her projects and inspirations and grew to have more of a design and craft focus and grew beyond what she’d ever imagined.

Her blog brought her many unexpected opportunities including a growing amount of freelance design projects. Having juggled her in house job and freelance work for a couple of years and totally worn out by the two combined, she took the plunge and left her job.

She now works full time at The Lovely Drawer, mixing blog and design work, with both creatively feeding off one another. Most days are spent at her very white home, working on wedding stationery, branding commissions, packing orders and styling blog posts. She also teaches regular brush lettering and digital workshops.

Join Teri for a Creative Genius Bar 1-2-1 on branding, design or styling.

  • There have been a lot of posts about the press release from the CMA this week. Lots of them about ‘new’ influencer posting rules, some of them inaccurate or misleading. Have you heard something that worries you? We’re always happy to share knowledge and point you in the right direction so please ask if you need clarification.
You know we’re big supporters of following the rules and clearly disclosing at the beginning of posts - it’s the only way to cement our reputation as an industry committed to transparency. But, as with all rules getting to grips with them isn’t always plain sailing. Our podcast episode 36 is a masterclass from the ASA themselves in how to keep your ads, gifts and products clear online. #blogtacular
