Kate Baxter

PR & Blogger - Be More Hive

Kate Baxter started her blog Fabric of my Life back in 2009 and has been listed as one of The Times Online’s Top 50 Design Blogs in the World and described by The Telegraph as “one of the most successful interior Pinners”.

Not only that but she’s done it all as a sideline business to her day job in agency PR, developing and implementing communication strategies for independent design brands.

Straddling both sides of the industry, Kate has a multi-faceted skill-set that allows her to approach every campaign with a creative, big-picture perspective whether working with a small start-up business or an established industry player.

A born-and-bred Londoner, Kate recently relocated to the vibrant Northern city of Manchester, home to her lifelong love, Manchester United football club. Well on her way to becoming an honorary Mancunian, she spends her weekends exploring the city and its surroundings to hunt down all the best coffee spots, or enjoying the creature comforts of her new apartment.

Kate co-founded Be More Hive with Jess Sims with the intention of taking the brand / blogger conversation into a non-customer facing environment. Be More Hive will be rolling out education and discussion to improve the relationships in our industry.

At Blogtacular you can join Kate and Jess for a workshop on defining your blog’s persona to attract brands.
