Annabel Beeforth

Blogger - Love My Dress®
Creative Genius Bar

Annabel Beeforth started blogging after she got married in 2009. In the five and a half years since, she has developed a thriving, multi-award winning small business with a 6 figure turnover. Through beautifully curated and thoughtfully written content, Annabel now seeks to inspire her readers with her personal selection of weddings, discussion posts and a daily reminder of the value of marriage.

In 2011, Annabel left behind her job as Principal Administrator at a North East University to focus on expanding her blog, which she now earns a full time living through, alongside various speaking engagements around the world.

Love My Dress® is now a leading UK and International wedding blog attracting visitors from all over the globe, and with a combined social media follower number heading towards 600k. It is widely considered the blog of choice by designers choosing to launch their new collections and promote their brand to stylish brides.

Considered by Elle Magazine as one of the world’s top five wedding blogs, Annabel has also used her influence to help raise £40k for Oxfam Weddings and highlight issues in the wedding industry that are considered taboo by more traditional print media (racial diversity, physical disability for example). This approach has earned her the respect of nearly 200k unique visitors who visit her blog every month.

Annabel is supported in running the blog by an administrator, copywriter, designer/developer and 10 copywriters. Her first book, Style Me Vintage Weddings (Anova Books) was released in April 2013 and continues to be a top selling weddings book.

Annabel lives in Whitby with her husband and business partner Philip, and two daughters, Eska Eleanor and Leanora Rose.

Annabel will be in the Creative Genius Bar throughout the afternoon of Blogtacular taking your questions on blogging, business and everything inbetween.
