Last week an article in the New York Times caught our interest.
Following the news from Young House Love that they were taking a break from blogging, Steven Kurutz explored the phenomenon of blogger burnout. He interviewed Blogtacular favourites including The House that Lars Built, Vintage Revivals and Design for Mankind who spoke to familiar themes of self-imposed pressure.
His article was followed by posts (links below) from The House That Lars Built, Design for Mankind and Grace of Design*Sponge (Blogtacular 2015 headline speaker) adding to the discussion on burnout.
We find this incredibly interesting especially as we have both felt the burnout vibe in recent years. Tonight’s #blogtacular twitter chat will focus on burnout the issues raised in this series of articles.
Join us on twitter at 9pm GMT using the hashtag #blogtacular to discuss your thoughts. The Storify of the chat is embedded below if you didn’t have the chance to join us live.
