Susan Beech

Paper Flower Artist - A Petal Unfolds

Susan Beech is the paper flower artist behind A Petal Unfolds. She works from her home studio in Brighton and loves living in the vibrant city.

Originally trained in Fine Art and working mainly with photography, she felt a need to go back to making with her hands again in 2013 and after trying a few different crafts became hooked on making crepe paper flowers.

For the last year, crafting paper flowers has been Sue’s full time job. Her regular paper flower workshops are sought after all over the world. She also crafts flowers at events and makes flowers for corporate projects and displays. Clients have included Cath Kidston, publishers Dorling Kindersley and Design*Sponge.

Sue will be sharing the secrets of paper blooms at the Friday night West Elm party.
