Helena Tracey

Art Editor - Mollie Makes
Creative Genius Bar

Helena is the Art Editor of Mollie Makes a position she has held since issue 5 in 2012. She directs the design of the magazine and it’s her job to make sure it looks gorgeous.

She loves how varied her job is – everything from styling photo shoots to designing pages, the cover and free gifts. She graduated from BA Honours Graphic Design and Advertising in 2006. Her proudest moment was being shortlisted for Designer of the Year at the PPA Awards in 2014.

Helena is an impatient crafter and loves crafts with quick results – crocheting granny squares, sewing simple cushion covers with her vast collection of vintage fabric or paint-dipping milk bottles. She is also enjoying dabbling in illustration and recently loved designing the neon stationery pack and papers for Mollie Makes issue 48.

Helena loves directing the Mollie Makes photo shoots from vintage market shopping to potting plants and making bunting. She has just bought her own home and can’t wait to finally start transferring her skills to real life styling. Her secret talent is hula hooping and she’s addicted to hipster fonts, washi tape and neon pink.

Helena will be in the Creative Genius Bar throughout the afternoon of Blogtacular taking your questions on styling.
