Otegha Uwagba is an Oxford graduate who spent her early career working in advertising. She now works as a writer, brand consultant, and is the founder of Women Who.
Women Who is a London-based platform that connects, supports, and inspires creative working women everywhere. Otegha’s inspiration for Women Who came at a time in her career where she found her work lacking in the freedom and creativity she craved. While working in a male dominated environment, she also realised that she missed the rewarding professional relationships with women, that she valued so highly.
Otegha is also the author of Sunday Times bestseller Little Black Book: A Toolkit For Working Women (4th Estate). The book, full of fresh ideas and no-nonsense practical advice, is designed to help every woman to build a successful self-made career. What started as a short-run self-published book to support the launch of Women Who is now the best selling must have business handbook.
In our discussion we explore creative careers, male-dominated industry, inclusion in the work place and why your network is essential to the tide rising and lifting us all.
