Blogtacular is on the hunt for talented freelancers to join the team.

We are an events company creating high quality conferences and workshops. Founded in 2013, Blogtacular has grown through four events into one of the premier blog conferences in the UK. In 2018 we are expanding our offering to include workshops.

In addition to our events, Blogtacular has a podcast, newsletters and numerous ways in which we support and elevate the blogging and creative industries online.

A strong understanding of the blogging world and experience across all social media platforms is central to working with Blogtacular.

Freelance Assistant

We are looking for a regular freelance assistant who is available to work flexibly during office hours.

This role requires a high level of organisation, attention to detail and a great ability to track tasks.

Hours depending on the workload / time of year, average around 4-5 per week during quiet periods and up to 10 immediately throughout May and June before our conference.

Regular tasks include:

  • Email management
  • Managing diary and appointments
  • Managing processes such as podcast guests and speaker onboarding
  • Sending invoices and contracts
  • Social media management and scheduling
  • Writing / proofing blog posts & podcast notes

Conference specific tasks include:

  • Liaising with a number of vendors, contractors and clients to ensure deadlines are met
  • Managing the to do list and keeping records of completed tasks
  • Replying to attendee and speaker queries
  • Keeping the conference director updated and ensuring her tasks are delivered on time

Team communication is through Slack and Skype. Must use Microsoft Outlook and Office software for email and documentation. We also use a number of apps to streamline processes and tracking including Dropbox and Asana.

Location: independant.

Rates: £14/hour.

Freelance Sponsorship Salesperson

Blogtacular is seeking a freelance salesperson who can help drive our sponsorship and partnership programme forwards.

The person who takes this position will have a background in sales, a packed contact book and an understanding of the power of influencer marketing.

You will work alongside the conference director to offer sponsorship packages which meet client goals and offer a strong return.

Location: South East England and able to take meetings in London.

Commission: rates negotiable and equity options are available.

Event Coordinator

Blogtacular events come with a whole host of moving parts. We are looking for a highly organised individual who has experience in running events to work alongside the core team.

This could be incorporated into the assistant role for the right candidate.

Role includes:

  • Working with the director to plan events (logistics and curation)
  • Establishing timelines to ensure smooth running
  • Research of venues and vendors
  • Overseeing the smooth running of events

Location: South East England and able to take meetings in London.

Rates: negotiable.
